Jakarta Forestry Dept. Head, Djafar Muchlisin said, those trees are relocated to Bersih, Manusiawi dan Berbudaya (BMW) Park at Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta.

He mentioned, trees relocating in Sudirman-Thamrin sidewalk area has been started since Tuesday (3/6) and targeted to finish in this month.
"Firstly, we relocate 65 trees in east (Semanggi direction) from Jenderal Sudirman statue to World Trade Center (WTC) building," he explained.
Second phase, he continued, his side relocated 45 trees in west side towards Bundara HI from Le Meridien Hotel to Jenderal Sudirman statue.
His side coordinates with Jakarta Bina Marga Dept. in providing space 5-6 meters in the sidewalk for replacement trees. It will be planted with sawo kecik, tanjung, and kencana crops.
"We will plant merak flower, bougenville, and pucuk merah crops on the divider between green lane and sidewalk," he said.
